Microneedling
What are they?
Using tiny sterile micro-needles to induce thousands of controlled micro-injuries into the skin. This triggers the skin’s natural repair process involving generation of new collagen and elastin formation. Therefore, results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles, minimize pore size, and induce skin tightening (improves crepey skin). The outer most layer of the skin (epidermis) sustains much less damage compared to ablative lasers and results in quicker healing time.

Side effects
Some minimal discomfort and warmth might be felt in the first 1-3 days after procedure along with redness that looks like a sunburn.
What to expect
During the consultation, your trained physician will assess if you are a good candidate for this procedure. Treatment session takes about 60 minutes to finish.
For your comfort, numbing cream will be applied before the procedure. Then, a sterile micro-needle head is used to penetrate the area under treatment with no pain and slightest discomfort if any. This will help enhance absorption of the post treatment serum that will be applied to nourish your skin and help stimulate new healthy collagen regeneration.
After the procedure, expect minimal downtime, with slight skin redness for couple days. You need to wear sunscreen if planning on going outdoor. Social events should be scheduled 2 weeks after your treatment to showcase your beauty.
